Stormy Day

The weather was wonderful today. Storming, warm and then sunny. In a matter of minutes the lighting changed as the sun was setting. These photos were taken within a twenty minute period. It was a nice break from photographing puppies.

The Girl's

The girl's are beautiful. My favorite is the runt who I have named Olivia. The are all so sweet and very social.

An Aboundance of life

Puppies are getting ready to go. I am having anxiety making sure they will get a loving home. Though they move through the house like a swarm creating chaos. My cats can't wait for them to go. The photo's here are of the boys. I have 5 male and 5 female. They are getting so big.

Peacefulness

Sometimes as a mother it is hard to grab a minute for yourself. Not only do I have a large litter but I have these people to care for. Kids to clean up after every meal and cats to monitor. When my babies grow up We are going to spend a week at the beach.

Malia and Sasha Obama welcome to your new home. Your daddy said you could have a puppy, my grammy has 11. You could have one.

I maybe the runt but I was the first to bark, walk and leave the room.

1st meal

It is time for a family huddle.

What a Mama

It has been three weeks since Katie's puppies were born and the changes have been happening at lightening speed. Eleven puppies are incredible amount of work. Several loads of laundry, changing of the papers and midnight crying. From their eyes opening, discovering their barks, sitting up and then walking out of the laundry room their development is fascinating to watch.

Katie

Katie came to my home pregnant. On Dec. 29, 2008 she gave birth to 12 puppies. One of these passed with in the first several hours. They are now one week old and healthy. She is a very good mother. Both Katie and the father are registered German shepards. He looks just like Katie.
